"Some guys got it and some guys don't."
Colonel Potter is timing Hawkeye while he takes a shower. Then Klinger comes with the news that the water trucks are not coming as scheduled and the colonel nixes BJ's shower. There is a water shortage and the personnel are forced to cut back on showers and milk is used in the food. A new nurse, Gail Harris, wants to study to be a doctor. Since Hawkeye has ulterior motives, she asks Father Mulcahy to help her study. In O. R. Gail tries to tell Winchester how to operate and Margaret reprimands her. After a study session she gives Father Mulcahy a "rather ardent embrace" and the chaplain comes to Hawkeye wanting to know what to do. Hawkeye agrees to keep Gail away from him, but this only makes her mad. When she finds out that Hawkeye knows what happened, she asks Colonel Potter for a transfer. Colonel Potter has a talk with Hawkeye, Margaret and Father Mulcahy. Margaret denies the transfer and puts her under the supervision of Hawkeye in preparing for her medical examination.
Trivia: How does Major Winchester manage to stay clean?
We might have a name for Hawkeye's hospital in Crabapple Cove, St. Shapiro's Medical Hospital. But it is given in the middle of a joke, so it's unknown whether or not that was intended to be canonic.
I didn't like this episode. It was dull and unbelievable if not a tad unrealistic.
