While I was in Vermont, I finished all the books I mentioned here and 12 more. Ah, that's what happens when there's life without the internet!! Since then, I've started other books. "That Would be Me"- Mickey Jones (You'd know him if you saw him. Fantastic minor role actor in movies and tv shows, as well as a drummer.) "Cider House Rules"- John Irving "The Girls"- Lori Lansens "Beat the Reaper"- Josh Bazell "Everything is Illuminated"- Jonathan Safran Foer (Loved the movie, now trying to read the book.)

I'm reading Raiders by Ross Kemp. It's about Britain's most daring raids in world war 2.

It comes through in the books, they are SO different and varied!
I'm currently finishing Stalky and Co. and Well Met By Witchlight by Nina Beachcroft. Stalky is an old friend and a wicked little boy while the Beachcroft is a gentle children's story on the basis of good magic against bad.

Currently reading Bonzer - a book about a girl growing up in Oz in my time - totally loving it. Might be a bit over the top for you guys in the US!

Currently coming to the end of James Hollands "Fortress Malta", it's a factual book set during the Battle for the Mediterranean in WWII. It is based on what survivors have told, (similar in format to Band of Brothers).
Next up is a related biography by Tont Spooner, based on Adrian "Warby" Warburton, one of the pilots stationed on Malta during the battle. I watched a BBC history program about "Malta Maverick Pilot" and got hooked on his story, but wanted to understand the larger picture first.

Currently on Swallows and Amazons with my 10 year old, the first child to take an interest in the series! Also, on my own, Antrobus by Larry Durrell. Absolutely hilarious purported to be Antrobus describing his years as ambassador to Serbia in the town of Zagreb, Found it very hard to put down, was forced to as the train had arrived at my station.

I started reading "Ender's Game" and now I am deep into the Ender universe. I read Ender's Game for the first time last year. I enjoyed the book, but I've heard from many people that the sequels are not very good. Have you enjoyed them so far? Which ones have you read?

I got done reading 5 Enders Game books. Ender's Game was awesome. Speaker for the Dead was good. It kept me wanting to read the next chapter and it had a good mystery with a surprise. Xenocide was harder to stay interested in. The last few chapters pay off and lead right into the next book. Children of the Mind was also very good and left you wanting more - but, so far as I know, there are no more. Ender in Exile is a retelling of the last chapter of Enders Game in a full novel and puts the other 3 books in perspective. It was intended to be read last, I think. I think it sells the Bean series which I will probably read later on.
Right now I am starting into "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".
