Dennis Dugan - Bob Wilson
"No matter how well you keep a secret, there'll always be one person who knows. You."
At breakfast, Hawkeye and BJ are in a bad mood but Colonel Potter is not. The colonel's son-in-law, Robert Wilson, is planning to visit the 4077th and the colonel brags to everyone about how great he is. Later, the colonel's opinion of his son-in-law changes when he finds out accidentally that Bob had cheated on his wife, Evy. Colonel Potter goes to Father Mulcahy to order him to give a sermon on good old fashion values. He then calls Evy on the phone to talk to her, but ends up just recommending the pony for Stuart. Finally, Colonel Potter cools down and settles his problem with Bob reminiscing of a time when he made a similar mistake. Meanwhile, Hawkeye and BJ are having problems getting sleep because Major Winchester has a snoring problem. Winchester, however, refuses to admit it. After Hawkeye and BJ tape-record him, the major goes to Father Mulcahy worried that he is not good enough for the Winchester name. After the major's problem is solved, BJ starts talking in his sleep.
Trivia: What is the name of Bob Wilson's company?
Bonus: What gift does Bob bring the Colonel?
The name of the Colonel's grandson changes to Stuart. In seasons 6 and 7 it was Corey. Last season his name was Skip ("Identity Crisis"), but that could have been a nickname. This is Dennis Dugan's second appearance. In "Love and Marriage" (S3) he was a soldier marrying prostitutes for money. This is the final episode for Mike Farrell to direct.
Another boring episode.
