"Will you people get your business out of my nose?"
During the night three unusual cases come in on the ambulance. One of them has lice. Another one, Private Caputo, comes in soaking wet. That night Hawkeye wakes up sneezing and, when he can't stop sneezing in staff meeting the next morning, Colonel Potter sends him to the showers. Hawkeye tries throwing out his laundry, Winchester's cologne and BJ's fuzzy jacket. Then he pulls weeds around the Swamp. After the usual tests, they decide it is an allergy, but no one can figure out to what. The next day Hawkeye walks in scratching and thinking he is going to die. Colonel Potter calls in Major Freedman to help. Sidney and Hawkeye talk about Hawkeye's childhood idol, his cousin, Billy. Hawkeye tells Sidney how Billy had saved his life when he fell in the water at the swimming hole. Then, Hawkeye desperately admits that Billy pushed him in the water. After this confession, there is no more rash or sneezing.
Trivia: What are the prescriptions of Klinger, Margaret, BJ, and Winchester?
Hmm, it seems like we saw this one. Oh, yes, “Hawk’s Nightmare” (S5) has Dr. Freedman curing Hawkeye of another psychotic problem that takes him back to his youth.
An OK episode.
