"Wu, do that voodoo that you do so well."
Three Korean doctors are assigned to watch Winchester work. They only end up annoying him. Winchester gives them the names Larry, Curly, and Mo. Then the major's back goes out. Everyone has a suggestion for him, but it is Dr. Wu's cure, acupuncture, that cures the major. In the mail, Colonel Potter gets swatches from his wife who wants to reupholster the furniture. Hawkeye gets a letter with a newspaper article in it about an Army doctor in the states making a killing off of the war. Hawkeye, furious about this, decides to send the Army a bill for services rendered. After itemizing all of the medical services, the bill comes to $38,215.11. This brings Captain Snyder to investigate. Captain Snyder infuriates Hawkeye when the bill is blown off as a prank and ripped up. Hawkeye, then, takes a jeep as partial compensation. While Captain Snyder is chewing out Hawkeye for this, BJ steals the investigator's jeep. At this Captain Snyder blows his temper, kicks Hawkeye's bag of x-rays and sprains his ankle. Hawkeye offers to treat the captain and call off his crusade if Snyder will pay him four dollars for the x-ray.
Trivia: What is the name of the doctor in the article?
Bonus: Where does that doctor practice?
Potterisms: "Jumpin' Jack Armstrong!", "Great Gatsby!"
Richard Herd played Captain Sheridan on TV's "T. J. Hooker", George's boss, Wilhelm, on "Seinfeld", and Admiral Paris on "Star Trek: Voyager". He also had a significant role in the movie "Planes, Trains & Automobiles". This is Jerry Fujikawa's sixth of seven appearances on M*A*S*H.
An OK episode for Season 8.
