Hawkeye stumbles into Rosie's bar after a long session of O. R. He orders a beer for his corn flakes. Sergeant Jack Scully comes in next AWOL and then BJ follows looking for Hawkeye. Hawkeye announces that he is staying forever and the others concur. They declare Rosie's bar a free country and name it Rosieland. Klinger comes in next to get into the Wong Ho crap game run by Cho and Ham Kim. Margaret, Radar, Father Mulcahy and Winchester each come in turn with messages for Hawkeye. Hawkeye and BJ tie up Winchester, put him in a corner and sit on him. Finally Colonel Potter walks in and chews out Hawkeye and BJ for taking his camp away. Klinger and Rosie find an "unknown soldier" passed out in the back. Radar tries to revive him and find out who he is. Some M. P.s come looking for Sergeant Scully, but Margaret covers for him and then sends him back to the front. Father Mulcahy, while watching the craps game, discovers that it is fixed. This starts a fight which eventually destroys Rosieland.
Trivia: Where had the Major Dorsett passed out at?
Bonus: How long had he been passed out?
The entire episode is filmed at Rosie’s Bar. The date mentioned in the episode is August 10th. This is the final produced episode of Season 7. However, this episode feels like an 8th season episode. It is the first episode where Eileen Saki plays Rosie. She will play Rosie from season 8 to 11. Also this is "part 1" of the "Scully" episodes and the other two ("Guerilla My Dreams" and "Stars and Stripe") are in Season 8.
This is an OK episode.
