The bombing yesterday at the finish of the Boston Marathon has really upset me. It has always been a peaceful, happy Marathon and I enjoyed it when my mother took me to watch it as a young girl. It will no longer mean the same thing when I hear about it..... The perpetrator, who I hope gets caught very soon, obviously has no heart. I don't think any bomber can have a heart to do something as tragic as this. My heart goes out to everyone, injured and uninjured because truly everyone has been wolunded whether it shows or not. Shandarose - if you are anywhere out there I hope you and your family are okay, wish you'd find your way back to us here too......

It is a horror - but what is so really sad, is that we are all moving on so easily - as horror and terror are now part of our lives.
An eight year old boy and a 29 year old young mother were killed. It has come to light that a third fatality is a young asian woman who was studying here.
The number of limbs that were severed are more than were in the river in Hawkeye's "dream" - I think the number is over 400 - and severed is too nice a word. More like blown off.
We are at war, and we don't even know with who.

On terrorist dead, the other in custody. The dad says they are framed - but the pictures from many many cell phones, all placed together, tell the tale. The brothers arriving with the backpacks, the brothers depositing them, and the backpacks exploding.

Good news - except for all the people looking forward to their new prostheses.
