This season will feature several new castaways competing with three returning castaways who were removed from their previous seasons due to illness or injury: Michael Skupin of The Australian Outback, Jonathan Penner, originally from Cook Islands and later evacuated in Micronesia, and Russell Swan of Samoa.
It will premiere on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 8pm EST with a special 90-minute premiere.
Notable new contestants this season include the 2000 National League MVP Jeff Kent and The Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel.

I do! I'm back watching as long as it's Russell Hantz-free.
And I want cookies! Hee! Goodness.

Well, I finally got caught up with some of the missed episodes. I was way behind. Thank God for On Demand. I got caught up, just in time too. The finale was last night.
I won't give away who won, just in case there is someone that watches it here (Rena) and hasn't seen the finale yet. But, I will say that the person that I wanted to win didn't even make it to the final 3 :/ Although, two of three that I picked to finish in the final 3 did make it that far.
It was an exciting season. I'm looking forward to the next one, of course.

Denise won! I wasn't too disappointed, though, there are others I wouldn't have minded seeing the title as well.

Denise deserved it. She went to every single tribal council and removed them all one at a time. That's got to be a perfect game if there ever was one.
