polythenepam, didn't you see Paul McCartney when he was in Philly a couple years ago? I wish!!!! Nope, never been over the pond. Wish I could do that too! Think I remember you saying you had met Billy Bragg, or was it your friend, whoever it was.....lucky them, he's one of my heroes!

That would be my brother. And yea, I must be confusing you with another Beatles Freak that lives in my area. After I just read your post in the Occupations thread, I realized that you probably didn't see Paul in Philadelphia. lol

You might be thinking of me, moonbeam! I did see Paul in Philly, and am indeed a Beatles freak. I would've put them as my avatar (and probably will at some point), but I've had the White Stripes on the brain lately for forthcoming reasons. So yeah, I've been to see Paul McCartney twice, a concert where the Stray Cats, Pretenders, REO Speedwagon, and ZZ Top played, and just yesterday went to Firefly Festival (could only do the first day, unfortunately), where we saw Jack White, OK Go, Silversun Pickups, and a couple other bands.

The historic theatre that I have been a volunteer at since the late 1990's finally has been restored and reopened. So, I have now been to a few more concerts. Not huge ones, but a few concerts I have been to now are The Gin Blossoms, The Hunts, and a few tribute bands like TUSK (Fleetwood Mac) and Draw The Line (Aerosmith). More to come, I'm sure.
